Today, we got about a foot of snow, and the UW schools had a snow day for the first time since 1987! However, by the time I realised it was a snow day, I was already showered and dressed and reading the paper and eating breakfast before class. :( Now I'm too hyper and unmotivated to study, and bored because there's SO much snow and I have no gloves and need a new coat and boots, so I'm totally stuck here. Plus, the main dining hall might be the only thing open (normally, during the week, there are six options of places to eat,) and as 3000 people live on campus, it's going to be really crowded. I might just go down to my dorm's front desk and have them make me a frozen pizza for lunch, then order in dinner from somewhere.
It sucks to be stuck.
If anyone sees my motivation anywhere, please give it back to me? The reward is hot chocolate.

Sorry I haven't updated in so long. If you've been reading my past few entries, you'll know I've been taking a creative writing class, which is a lot of writing in terms of sheer volume, but I like it anyway. However, my professor is big on "telling your story," "showing your voice" and "writing from your most difficult experiences." So I finally did, sort of, for my long short story assignment. If you remember this girl I knew from my high school speech team, Sarah, that I've mentioned before on here, this is a take-off on her situation and me wanting to help- in real life, I wasn't really able to, but I wish I could have at least talked to her in person about things. We have our pieces workshopped by the whole class, and I think people liked it overall, though they had a lot of suggested changes and literary criticism, so I ended up practically rewriting the whole thing. But the good thing was, no one mocked or questioned my choice of subject matter or tried to interrogate me about if I SIed or not, and the class even got into a discussion about, as my professor put it, "this condition" for a few minutes, and most people seemed to know at least a little bit about it rather than just believing the myths or lies that are spread around. And it was a little uncomfortable, this topic, but people weren't completely shying away from it, you know? And even my professor appeared to understand a bit, just in general.
I'll stop rambling now and put up my latest draft of the piece. It's called "Proof."
Any comments/suggestions for improvment would be much appreciated (I have to hand in this new draft on Tuesday.) Thanks. :)
